Hard-working show people like this we knew from the outset, getting them together for one night would be our challenge. As luck would have it, February 16th was when everyone’s calendar’s aligned.
Friends, local businesses and hotels around put stuff in so we could do raffles all night. We flogged tickets and pulled prizes out of a hat for the plethora of goods and services we’d gathered together to generate some cash to send to those that need some help in the fire-stricken parts of eastern Australia.
We had an amazing night. The Backyard was chockas with new friends and old all here happy to support and party, no one lost sight of the need to get together and dig deep for those left in a crap position by these recent developments in NSW, QLD & Victoria. As luck turned out for some lucky people they were able to get that perfect something for the perfect someone while helping out and having the best time while doing it! Is that a win, win, win? Situation?
