They’re here, fresh from the States, the brand spanking new range of Linus bikes have touched down at the Temple. Here at Deus we like building our custom motorcycles, and have been known to put together a few bicycles in our spare time too. Back in the colonial days of the 30’s, the Dutch shipped over bicycles which are still used by locals today. When you see an old rice farmer pedaling in between the paddies, chances are that vintage bike is older than the rider. After opening our new store at Venice Beach, we stumbled across the Linus store. Inspired by French designs from the 50’s, these vintage- style bicycles reminded us of what we aspire to back at the Bengkel. We like them so much we decided to bring some back with us to give residents of Bali a taste of the West Coast flair. There’s something special about whistling down a quiet path towards the ocean, hearing the sounds usually drowned out by the roar of an engine.
